Here's a kind of small but cool manifestation of political change. Caroline McCarthy confirms that today, for the first time, United's route maps show Havana:
There are no regular United flights from the US to Cuba, but it is designated as a city served by "select airline partners." Both United and Air Canada, for example, are members of the Star Alliance of international airlines and Air Canada flies the Toronto-Havana route.
