ABC Charters to add third destination in Cuba from Tampa
ABC Charters will launch service from Tampa to Santa Clara, Cuba, on Dec. 4.
The Cuba charter operator already flies from Tampa to Havana and to Holguin. It will add a second weekly flight to Havana on Nov. 5.
Tampa will join Miami as the only U.S. cities to have direct flights to all three Cuban cities.
Santa Clara was the site of a battle for rebel forces during the Cuban revolution in 1958. The rebels were led by Che Guevara, who was buried in the city after his death in 1967.
