Augsburg Reaches Out to Other Schools

The Center for Global Education at Augsburg College has coordinated dozens
of programs in Cuba for more than 15 years. Currently, we are in the
thick of our semester program - History, Culture, and Politics of Cuba -
which is currently running for the second time. We know other programs to
Cuba haven't gotten off the ground as planned, so we simply wanted to flag
for the community that we're currently accepting applications for the 3rd
semester, Fall 2014, until October 25. More info can be found here"

Additionally, we are coordinating a professional development program in
Cuba this summer (May 31-June 8, 2014) called "Course Preparation in Cuba"
designed for any faculty or educational abroad professionals who plans to
lead a group or design a program/course in Cuba (whether or not you work
with CGE in planning that course/trip). The program includes meetings with
experts, resource people and local faculty, while also participating in
tours of facilities and organizations you may want to incorporate into a
future program. Finally, there will be plenty of discussions and meetings
around the logistics and legalities of educational travel in Cuba. $100
discount available to early bird registrants before November 15. More
information can be found here:
